Good Morning JTL

Good Morning JTL is the John T. Lambert Intermediate School’s morning broadcast, which features daily weather reports, sports, student achievement and, school and local news. The club was created by Mr. Terry Toth in 2004 and has run every day since then. It used to be transmitted to individual classroom TVs, but in 2018 the broadcast was streamed live using YouTube. The Good Morning JTL studio can be found in the back left of the library.

Every year, Mr. Toth holds auditions for students who are interested in being a part of the Good Morning JTL cast. Mr. Toth's goal is to teach students how to be independent and create a professional broadcast. He also wants students to learn the values of teamwork, friendship, and dedication. As of now, there are 21 students involved with Good Morning JTL.

What is Mr. Toth Looking for?

Mr. Toth is looking for someone who has each of the following:

Great personality. Someone that is friendly that connects with the students at JTL
Someone that is involved in academic or athletic after-school activities.
Good character. Someone that wants to help others and can be a good team member.
A student should have a clean disciplinary record.
Someone that can sit down and have a conversation with adults or students
Excellent smile with great eye contact
Excellent reading skills. Must stop at punctuation and take proper pauses so the reading is smooth and continuous.
Must be able to have a good recommendation from the current school year's team of teachers.
